Our Story
Our journey began in the small town of northeastern Arkansas, where family, church, and community values shaped our adventurous spirit. In a bold move, our family sold everything, bought a travel trailer, and set off for Alaska without a clear plan. Settling in Fairbanks, we learned to embrace the Last Frontier’s unique lifestyle, from hauling water and cutting wood to living in a small cabin without running water.
The spark for dog mushing ignited when we adopted our first sled dog, Grizz, and soon after, Peewee joined our pack. This marked the beginning of our deep connection with sled dogs and the thrill of mushing adventures. Life is all about obstacles and overcoming challenges, and every race we participate in is a testament to our dedication and hard work.

Behind every successful musher is an army of support. Our handler crew consists of dedicated individuals who share our passion for dogs and the sport. Together, they ensure our dogs receive the best care, training, and love, keeping our team in top shape for every race and adventure.
Our Dogs
Our dogs are the heart and soul of our team. From our former all-star trio, QT, Jefe, and Bruno, who have now retired, to our current team members, each dog plays a crucial role in our success. We believe in giving back to our loyal companions, ensuring they have fulfilling lives even after their racing careers. Some find new homes in retirement, while others join slower-paced recreational teams.

Why We Do It
