FINISH LINE

The KOAH Team did it!  Despite injuries and setbacks early in the season, the first race for the kennel is in the books and we couldn’t be more thrilled for Bridgett and her team.  They crossed the finish back in Central at around 8 pm in 12th place of 18 teams.  As Bridgett said from the beginning the goal was a finish with everyone healthy.  Flash and Bronze led the team to the finish and all were barking and happy to be greeted with lots of praise and yummy treats!  Bridgett’s knee held up beautifully.  Normally it would be time to load up and head back to Kennel on a Hill for some rubs, pets, more food, and sleep! But the beautiful snow we enjoyed today have us snowed in and unable to cross Eagle Summit. We will follow the plows out around 9 am tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who showed up to cheer us on far and near!  The love and prayers for a healthy race were felt.  A post-race wrap-up by Bridgett will follow soon! I asked Bridgett if there was anything she wanted to add to the blog and she said “Wahoo!!!!!” Needless to say, we started with a team of toddler dogs and they are now ready for the next race.

  1. Bridgett, I just saw this article because Aliy mentioned your kennel’s website. We knew Bronze went to your kennel because Aliy told us. We would like to continue to sponsor Bronze like we did for Aliy and Allen. Please let us know if this is acceptable with you and where I could send the check. We are so happy she is still in a working kennel. We had a long relationship with SP Kennels and would like to continue if you are doing dog sponsors. I know this is the time of year we always sent our check to Aliy. Please let us know how you feel about this. Bronze’s sponsors from Georgia, Vivian and Greg Martin
