Scotty was introduced to dog mushing on his first trip to Alaska in 2004. While he enjoys being out with the team, his passion is hunting and fishing. He is an avid outdoorsman with many skills in hunting and trapping wild game. He enjoys the subsistence lifestyle and providing food for his family. He is still passionate about his childhood sport of baseball in which took him all the way through college. He now enjoys teaching his boys as their coach in sports. Scotty is currently a commercial loan officer for Northrim Bank.
